You need to improve ruck play man like apply the super rugby laws at the breakdown.create a engine system for players at ruck time like blowing over as a unit or in twos or threes.You need more emphasis at ruck time do more then just killing the ball…..You know you need something like a control that can make your own controlled players off there feet lieing on the ball in the ruck staff like that.You also need to improve your boring lineouts you need more options man like create a playbook or something for lineouts such as quick throws and staff more then one player lifted in the air during lineout alot you need to work on aye…Rugby 2008 was boring as hell…The scrum also needs to improve such as a engine system to screw the scrum or something the front row going up and down.More flanker and no.8 and no.9 options.
Theres alot you need to put in this game if you want to make it a success its good that you have improved the graphics and added the super rugby championship and the itm cup…….You need to make it realistic up to date man.
The stadiums and the crowd are just bananas man you need to make it more realistic the grass and the atmosphere needs improvemnt lighting and day time play needs to improve technology has upgraded so you need to think about those options….You need to make it so players who are playing the game play something different everytime…….comon guys use your heads man do your job properly….All the rugby games you have produced was a complete waste of time it needs big time improvements for this rugby challenge game coming out next month.
Dont make this game like the new rugby league game that just came out.
your game is not ready to come out the screenshots look like they have a improved but like everyone else was saying the players need to look like props and backs not backs looking like forwards……….Look at the small things more camera angles are needed for conversion kicks at goal and penalty kicks at goal……The line kicking needs more power to the kick also positional play for teams needs more options for kick returns and when kick off begins….Such as the whole team spread out on a line defence pattern…..Not just bunched up in one region to chase the kick off…..More camera and action should be put to the dressing room…Pre game interviews staff like that you need all those things in there like i told you before massive improvements are needed.Also when someone is injured the trainer and all the first aid kit he has got has to be shown on camera as well with camera angles not just one camera shot. We want to hear more communication from players and referees such as GET OF 7 GET OFF 7……And players saying and talking it up at lineout such as 65 98 22 g6 drive out staff like that…..and at scrum time we want to hear crouch! touch!pause!ENGAGAE!!!….BOOOM.iMPACT RIGHT THERE…………..MAN THIS GAME NEEDS ALOT TO IMPROVE ON NO WHERE NEAR IN SELLING TIME AT THE MOMENT.
The whether gameplay needs improvement such as muddy fields raining on pitch turf players wearing wet clothes…Real life spitting rubbing noses water bottles pplayers bending over looking tired……One player smashing in to the ruck taking out players………Yeah alot of staff you need to improve on.

The screenshots look great. The stadiums are a particular highlight. However I must point out that the picture of the lineout is a cause for concern in that all the forwards are the same height and also have the same generic poses (crouching down with hands on knees). This makes the game feel amateur and not made by real rugby players, also the height problem and non different body shapes need to be fixed, come on guys this is a thing of FIFA 07. I wanna see short fat props and tall second rows.
Bloody well right, the screens look awesome, but I’m really worried about the forwards (especially those props). They all look like if they were wingers, I mean, no hooker can be THAT slim, guys…
^^^ Ha!! slightly harsh considering what they achieved but true all the same. I doubt its due to a lack of rugby playing experience, more like setting priority for resources and man hours… this section is non playable/ non interative, I doubt the average gamer would notice or care!! Height and weight difference is disappointing though. My only concern was the lighting in the Haka was a slightly flat, gold seemed yellow and not as warm as the previously released images, also either the level of detail, textures or blooming seemed reduced, do a side by side comparison and notice the pitch markings.

Put drama in to the game such as fights random head butts Players infriging at ruck.There should be a controll on the ps3 for a player or players to enter the side of the ruck and turning the ball over without the referee looking…..But if the referee spots this should be a penalty and then yellow carded.
In the crowd there should be different coloured faces empty seats people on the piss flags waving signs for players such as GET CARTER for Dan Carter….Staff like that.
They should also show the coach in the box office seat inside the stadium as well………..Alot of improvements are needed to make it a success for this game to make it a financial profit.

Are you for real?? You are making all these statments that it does not do this or does not do that……..you have not even seen the game yet so how can you make these comments?? I think the developers with have most of your concerns covered…
I have already seen the gameplay videos all looks one dimensional everything except for the passing game which has sort of have improved.For this game. The goal kicking engine looks terrible looks too one dimensional. Goal kicks should curve go high should have a controlled elevation platform like before as it was similiar.
The commentary well i heard when i saw the gamplay videos sounds bloody boring grant nissy the wank nuts sounds gay…What happend to willie lose grant fox each set of commentators for each country and competition……The referees as well should also have a set for air new zealand and the IRB……If you want to make this game the next call of duty black ops you gota do it similiar the all blacks rugby challenge i have seen so far is a big fail including the australian one thats coming out which is eveb worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!……….arrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!
the game looks FANTASTIC, really the licensing disparity between this and RWC2011 is really not going to be a deciding factor, I will buy based on which game is a) more fun and b) more faithful to how rugby should be portrayed. but at the moment it looks like this is going to edge it, i’m really excited for this game!
only suggestion i would give is to give us a demo (maybe just a single match demo eg the 2011 Super Rugby final Crusaders vs Reds?) because we’d all love to give feedback, and also it would generate a huge amount more interest in the game if there was a demo

It seems to me as though you can only play as the tri nation national teams which sucks, howe4ver gameplay looks awsome and i hope there is a good manager type mode, unlike rugby 08

Another +1 for a demo, especially as the WC one is coming out on the European PSN store. If this one plays better (and that great gameplay video suggests that it will) then you simply have to get now on there to blow the other one away.

A few questions from an English perspective!: Regarding the national clubs, which ones will you have? And can you play through an Aviva Premiership league, and the Heineken cup? Will I be able to play as England through a world cup, or a 6 nations?
looks really good. watched rugby 2011 wc gameplay video this morning and looks the same as 08. Rugby challenge looks a lot better, the gameplay is the best of any rugby game to date. Hopefully the difficult setting will actually be challenging unlike rugby 08 when u can score 50 points in 5 minutes on elite. can’t wait to play it. just a pity that SARU didn’t give permission for the licensing of the south african teams. Go Stormers!!!

ive seen the gameplay videos its da same as 08 man you need to change the bloody whole thing man…..The grass looks to computerised the crowd numbers need to be limited and should be controlled by the controller.The scrums and lineouts looks tooo one dimensional bloody hell man.It needs to be bloody realistic extra time and staff….Man you people need to do your jobs properly man you shouldnt even get payed!!!!!…..The only improvement is the graphics and the competitions.
If you want make games a bloody success on video gaming machines you bloody make it like the real thing like call of duty black ops for christ sake………..daaaam!!!!.its 2011 heading into 2012 you new zealanders live tooo much in to the past man its not the 80’s or 70’s we live in 24 7……Bloody wake up the game needs readjustment and improvements.
