There’s an article out now saying that there will be no SA club or national side in the game. Any truth to this…I hope not.
after watching the cut scene at the end, it made me want the game even more…
and whats better is that i live in wellington too so its a really awesome thing to have a (hopefully number 1) game made from my hometown

looks absoluteley unvelievable. quick question but. what teams were seen at the end? were they custom just because its a trailer? are we able to put our created player in like the waratahs team and do a franchise mode with that team?

I agree with Bagby123, not as many people know about this game; When I heard about it, I thought Rugby Challenge had no chance against Rugby World Cup 2011 but to be honest Rugby Challenge has far got the upper hand and they need to really go public with it and please let us know a UK release date!

The only point we need cleared up is whether custom created players can be taken online. The options for customisation look amazing.
i just wanted to say that i love how it all was put together to make a really awesome editing tool…. i love the fonts the colors of the background.. everything… man… i cant wait to go get one.

I’ll be back in Portugal for the next several months…is there any chance this game will be released in Portugal or at least Spain or somewhere close for me to grab a copy?? No release date has been set, though Rugby Challenge will be released in time for the Rugby World Cup. Watch this site, Twitter, our forum, and Facebook for updates.

LOOKS PRETTY GOOD HOWEVER RUGBY WORLD CUP HAS GOT ME SOO FAR, THE RUGBY WORLD CUP HAS PUT MORE SCREEN SHOTS UP AND LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE IMPROVED FROM THE FIRST SCREENSHOTS THEY PUT UP , THIS GAME ALSO LOOKS GREAT SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CAN WE HAVE SOME GAMEPLAY SCREEN SHOTS TO LOOK AT. hey guys great job on the graphics, hope they are jus as great on gameplay…for the unlicenced teams can you guys jus do the statistics and ratings for each player of each position and we can change the name through create player mode? if that is not a breach then it would be great..i hope thers no glitches, no cheap ways to score etc..anyway great job and keep th great work up, hope a release date is out soon but i gues you guys probly waiting for super final to finish..oh and one more thing, can you guys make it so that any team and every team has a possible way of winning, not just having the good teams be to good for any team with a lower rating then them..thats where game momentum should come in handy with the gameplay so that its fair for both teams…which ever team keeps ball in hand and high % of possesion shoud get momentum..im sure you guys have already addressed this but was jus checking…good work guys..

Will this game come to South Africa, and will the South African teams feature. Will the South African Players have their real names, because of the license issue.
It is a bit annoying that the South African teams won’t feature on the game, but what can you do. It would be fantastic if you at least create fake teams with fake player names. If there is a player name editor, like the ones in many of the cricket games, this would be marvellous for many pedantic rugby fans. Also if custom teams could be created that would be great. Rugby challenge looks like a cracker of a game and can’t wait for it to come out.
It’s very fortunate that you can edit unlicensed players and teams, as well as creating your own then!
Holy Smokes this makes the pathetic editor on EA’s rugby games look like crud!
if the south african teams will be unlicensed will that mean people like john smit there names in this game will be jonny smithins or something weird like that. and if so will you be able to change it back to john smit in player editior mode.

I know many of you will most likely be purchasing Rugby Challenge for your consoles, but I feel obliged to buy it for my PC, not only because I have a top gaming one (I had to say it) but because I am hoping I can contribute to a helpful community that will make all the non-licensed players and teams available for download, and I am hoping Rugby Challenge will support the community after the games released.

I just bought the game for PC!!! It’s awesome!!! There is just one problem, the crowd makes noise but is invisible. Will there be any patches coming out soon to fix this? Amazing game keep up the great work!!
I got this game last year & I loved it only because I had been hangin out for a rugby game for ages,so after the novelty wore off I started to pick all the faults.Now come on in this day & age this should not be happening,when I heard Sidhe made it I thought to myself this better not be like there rugby league games ’cause they sucked.Why didn’t they take a leaf out of EA Sports books,when they bought out the rugby game on PS2 you had full control of replays(zoom,pause the whole shebang).The stats are all over the place,you cant tackle opposition while they are scoring a try unless you’re tackling them as they’re going over the line,need I go on.Now dont get me wrong I still love playing this game,I just want all the glitches & mistakes fixed so the next time i’m on a forum I can leave positive comments instead of sounding like a whinging idiot.So Sidhe either get your act together or don’t do it at all.
