It is good that a rugby game is out for the US, but will there be a PS3 version coming out?

We don’t know yet. Distribution for the PS3 version has not yet been secured in North America. Tru Blu has not given up.

It was worth the wait. Thank you madcatz for closing the gap for us in USA. This is the greatest game until the boys at sidhe and tru blu gains all the licenses and blow the top off of rugby challenge 12 wink wink lol. You guys have truly captured what it means to play rugby in a console. I love the Samoans and Tongans and Fijians presence in the game. No more Sogipoki (plz ask a Samoan what this means) on the pitch for Samoa (epic fail from rwc11) my mom almost slapped me when the announcer said his name lmao. Great job guys. Cheers.

Just bought the game at Gamestop in Phoenix. Crashes and freezes constantly. Have yet to make it to the second half! What’s up?!? I’m about to take it back.

It’s hard to know what’s up from here. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the game?

Turned out the disc was bumped or a fault in the manufacture. Gamestop took care of it. I had to wait a couple days for another Phoenix location to stock it but I have a copy and the game is great. Much deeper than I expected. Very impressed. You should put a game out a least every two years (with licenses!).

The game is fantastic. Is it previewed an updating patch in order to modify the national team data apart from All Blacks and Wallabies ??? It would be absurd to play with England team not finding J.Wilkinson wouldn’t be ????

The licences for the sides not present were not available, so we made up sides to make up numbers.

We’ll update when there’s more news about this. In the meantime, you could import it from another territory. My understanding is that getting it from the UK isn’t too expensive.

You guys should try to get the license for the pre-game war dances for new Zealand’s kapo o pango, Tonga’s Sipi Tau, Fiji’s Cibi, & samoa’s Siva tau on your next rugby game. Just a hopeful suggestion.

Kapo O Pango cannot be used commercially.

We have a wishlist thread in the forums linked at the top of the page for people to discuss what they would like to see should we have the opportunty to develop a sequel.

Is there any progress to look forward to on the PS3 release in America? At least a glimmer of hope. Why does PSN not upload it to sell? Can’t afford the extra money to buy overseas and know I am missing out on a great game.

I’ve had word from one North American gamer that it cost him only $3 more to import from the UK than it would be to buy locally. That said, Tru Blu are still looking at PS3 distribution options in North America.

Just wanted to say I picked this game up on Friday (im in Canada) and love it! Im spreading the word that a decent rugby game is now available! I really hope you guys continue to build off of this game and release another one in the next year or 2 with more from career mode etc.

Quick questions: When do you pick up free agents and make trades in Career mode? You cannot make aqcuisitions throughtout the year?
